Q; Do I have to meet with you to have the fingerprints taken? 
A; No, not at all, we use a very straight forward moulding impression kit which can be sent to you, together with straight forward instructions on how to take the print. The impression kit uses the same material that we use to capture your fingerprints, it is very easy, non toxic and clean! 

Q; How easy is the impression kit to use at home? 
A; Very! The kit is very straight forward and easy to use; it comes with complete instructions and will take no more than 2-3 minutes of your time. We have had total success with our impression kit and a confident that your impression will be suitable, however please do rest assured that if we are not totally happy with it we will issue you with a new impression kit free of charge. Precious moments work with you to capture the best memories possible. 

Q; Is the impression kit safe? A; Yes, it is made from non toxic materials and we have never experienced anyone having any issues with it, we have used it on our own family! We would however recommend that you wipe fingers after use. It must be your decision to use the impression kit and Precious moments cannot accept liability for any problems encountered whilst using it. 
Q; Can I have my prints done in person? 
A; Most defiantly, please email or call to arrange an appointment at our studio or we are happy to come to you if you have 5 or more friends wanting to place orders, (please see Fingerprint Parties for details) 

Q; How long does the process take? A; Fingerprint Impression kits are dispatched within 48 hrs of payment being received. Once we are in receipt of your fingerprint impression creating your Jewellery takes up to 14 days, unless stated at the time of ordering (this does occasionally vary at the very busy times of year, such as Christmas and Fathers day!) 

Q; How old does my child have to be? 
A; Fingerprint impressions can be taken from a child of any age; I actually did my sons at 6hrs old! The rule of thumb however is, the younger the child the less defined the print will be, but this does vary with every child. I have done many young babies and customers have always been very happy with the results. 

Q; Can you use adults fingerprints? 
A; Absolutely! There is no upper age limit. 

Q; Will I see the fingerprint clearly?
A; In most cases the fingerprint is very clear. It does depend of the depth of lines on the finger, the shallower the lines the less well defined the print may be. Every print, no matter how many lines always creates a nice finger imprint. 

Q; I love my Jewellery and want to order more do I need to make another impression? A; The choice is yours! I am happy to use the mould we have already however if you are coming back a few months or year later you may decide to have a new impression captured as it will show how much your little one has grown. 

Q; How much is postage and packing? 
A; Postage is £6.95 which includes the impression kit, postage to you and the pre payment of the return postage. This also includes the final delivery of your finished Jewellery. 

Q; Will my Jewellery be gift wrapped 
A; Yes, all of our Jewellery comes beautifully gift boxed with ribbons etc. 

Q; Can I arrange a Fingerprint party for my friends? 
A; Depending on your location. Private parties are a great excuse for a coffee and a natter with friends, and what’s more you will get a discount on your own fingerprint Jewellery! Fingerprint parties aren’t a sales session, I am a mum and I just happen to make beautiful Jewellery! 

Q; Are the fingerprints real silver? 
A; Yes they are infact 99.9% silver which is a purer form of silver than 925. 

Q; Hallmarks? 
A; In accordance with current regulations only items that are over 3grammes in weight require a hallmark, so to keep costs lower as standard our products are not hallmarked. I can however send them to be hallmarked for you at an extra charge - please email or call for further details. 

Q; Why is Precious Moments Jewellery cheaper than many other companies, is it still a high quality product? 
A; Totally! When I initially founded precious moments one of my key ethos was that it had to be affordable to all. I have a family and I know that every penny does count no matter what, the quality of my Jewellery is exceptional and I pride myself in my pricing structure. 

Q; I have seen other companies selling fingerprint Jewellery, are you a franchise or do you sell via them? 
A; No, I do not believe in franchise, and I do not sell via any other sites. There are some companies also selling fingerprint Jewellery however I do not have any connections with them. I trained at Art and Design College and have evolved my Jewellery making skills throughout the years, this is why I am able to offer such high quality products, and many made to order items. 

Q; Do you really make all orders by hand? 
A; Yes! I make every piece by hand from start to finish. 

Q; Can I pay by cheque or cash? 
A; Yes, cards can be taken via the web site and are secure using Paypal. However payment can be accepted by cheque or cash is person, they can also be sent through the post to keep things a secret however please send them special delivery and let us know this is what you are doing.
